The Fall

  The great being has fallen, dropped from the sky. His limbs are calcinated, an arm hangs dangerously, like the mast of a ship before the vessel sinks. The other arm... or is it a leg? His garments are azure, or is it the moon's crescent? His face is turned over, I am almost able to see its profile through the fire and the flames: it shows the divine thunderbolt that struck him down and made him perish.

  A soul incarnates itself. It descends from the sky like a winged planet, and yet, his feet in full view truly indicate a very strong terrestrial vocation…
