This project is part of the Polis, complex. Its original town- plan expected there to be a visual axis and a small square, but the Developer failed to take this into consideration when he sold the area to the C.C.C.Company for them to build their head-offices. The architect was thus forced to make acrobatic changes in order for the abnormal encumbrance of the new building not to interfere with the square and the visual axis wanted by the project of the entire complex. This is how the idea of an incorporated small square arouse. This space was dug in the building itself, respecting that dialogue between ancient and modern (both intended not in a historical manner, but simply in relative and virtual terms), between chains and freedom, between reality and optical illusion… which are the signature of Mazzucconi's architecture.
