    LARGE PAPERS

  Om-Nama-Shivaja
1992.03.14
180 x 180, acrylic on paper, mounted on panel
The devotional attitude and the signs of prayer are by no means the only typical aspects of this picture: even if the illumination comes from above, she is still facing obscurity, while the rosy light of dawn is to be seen behind her. And her hands clutch a veil that expresses grace, decency, but also the fact that she is not yet ready to welcome the truth.

  The Wave (Ornella)
1992.03.28
100 x 140, acrylic on paper, mounted on panel
It is with great courage, with complete abandonment, that the Soul must giveitself to life and, in life’s heart, to God.

The Soul and the Self (Virility)
1992.03.30
180 x 180, acrylic on paper, mounted on panel
It may appear to be a relationship between a man a woman, but beside, perhaps, the occasional event, it is a metaphor of the relationship existing between the immortal Self and the Soul that seeks it, by heading towards the light.
