Vittorio Mazzucconi had left the Studio of Corso Garibaldi - La Fornace degli Angioli - to come to his new ‘quarters’, Luogo della Cascata, the previous year. Later on this corner would have become the Cultural Association that supports the Foundation. Few paintings date back to this period, and yet they are intense and varied. They narrate the experiences of the soul, as it heads towards the way of the Inner Self, with impetus and faith… and also towards other loves, of other women who become his models, not in usual sense of posing before the artist, but in the sense of being the springs that give life and form to the inner necessities of the artist.
