  The cosmic Lover
1988.05.20
100 x 150, oil on canvas

From the billows of life, in the extreme moment of the shipwreck, when all seems lost, the soul frees itself and leaps as it dances in front of the light. The same force that burns the wave of life arouses a friendly rustling of wings which protects and guides it. The ‘dancer’ is welcomed by it and invited towards the sky where, impossible to express in words, the cosmic lover awaits it.

  The door
1988.06
120 x 150, oil on canvas

A door of light. On one side, a threshold of flames around which a snake seems to coil. On the other, a stairway to high and swollen clouds. Are the unknown and the thunder getting nearer? A mysterious eclipse obscures the sun of the spirit once again.

  The Tree
1988.06.22
150 x 100, oil on canvas

A ship mast, a phallic symbol, a sail, a crescent of moon, and the spiral of a creative principle… This could also be a self-portrait.
